# Token Utility & Mechanics

## Core of the Judgement Experience

The Judgement Token ($JUDGE) is designed to be more than just a digital asset; it’s the key to a unique and interactive experience within the MeFi ecosystem. In this section, we explore how $JUDGE functions as both a voting and reward mechanism, and the intricate mechanics that underpin its utility.

### $JUDGE: The Voting Currency

At the heart of the Judgement platform is the voting system, where $JUDGE tokens are used by holders to cast votes on various crypto personalities and scenarios. This process is central to our community-driven approach, enabling token holders to actively participate in shaping the platform.

### Voting Mechanics Explained:

* Casting Votes: Token holders use their $JUDGE tokens to vote on presented personalities, personalities and events.
* Voting Power: The power of a vote is proportional to the number of tokens used in voting. This ensures that every token holder’s voice is significant, regardless of the size of their holdings.
* Outcome Determination: The side with the most tokens voted wins the decision.

### Revenue Generation and Token Dynamics:

* Voting Fee: A small fee of 0.001 SOL is charged for each voting transaction, creating a revenue stream for operational costs and Real Yield staking rewards.
* Token Redistribution: Post-vote, the tokens from the losing side are distributed proportionally to the winning voters, adding an exciting dynamic to the voting process.

### Reflective Tax on Token Movement:

* A 1% tax is implemented on all $JUDGE token movements (buying, selling, transferring, voting). This tax serves a dual purpose:
* Rewarding Stakers: 50% of the tax is redistributed to $JUDGE stakers, incentivizing token holding and staking.
* Token Burn: The remaining 50% of the tax is permanently burned, contributing to the deflationary nature of the token.

### Conclusion

The utility and mechanics of the $JUDGE token are integral to the Judgement project. They embody our commitment to a community-driven platform, where token holders are not just investors but active participants. Through these mechanisms, $JUDGE transcends traditional token functionality, offering a unique and engaging experience in the MeFi space.
